LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT AT&T !!!!!!!! When Bell South changed to AT&T being a senior citizen that dreads change I was apprehensive . Everyone always put new in front of there name which say change but usually nothing changes. WELL LET ME TELL YOU A GOOD STORY. My business phone line went down last night after a lightning storm and I was frantic as the this is the last weekend before school starts and we have a lot of families coming this weekend. I called AT&T repair service last night. I was unable to forward my calls to my cellphone since the line was down. People call for directions and reservations and just general info on park and I was really concerned about losing business. AT&T was able to forward my calls remotely within a few minutes. I got up this morning had a dial tone and made one phone call before it was off again. This time both lines. That second line is my credit card and fax machines. By this time I had my first call from AT&T at 8:00 AM telling me that a service man would be there by 7:00 PM I told her about the 2nd line being out and said I was going to send my husband to buy a new phone because not being able to collect electronically is a bigger problem, since the majority of my business is with credit or debit cards. She said to unplug phone and leave off for a minute or two and then re-plug and even though I know that, in my hysteria all reasoning was gone. Well needless to say I had another call from AT&T from office and another from a repairman. I told her about the line being on and a new phone on the way and she said wait for the repairman before you buy a phone because trouble was showing on that other line also. I have never seen such a drastic and wonderful change in a company. I know that the people are mostly the same people but the attitude is what makes the difference. I've had Bell South for years but this is the most dramatic change in attitude, courtesy, and concern that I have ever seen in any company. They really care and I appreciate their service and help to get me thru what could have been an extremely bad crisis .My phone was working by 11:00 AM 8 hrs before scheduled repairman and when I called to cancel the repairman the representative that I spoke with was so pleasant and helpful. I feel good and never missed a call or a customer. Thanks AT&T. You make things happen. OhOh the phone went out again. I called AT&T again . Young lady said she would forward the calls again very nice person and i was still on list for repairman. Lo and Behold, one of the nicest young man shows up on my office porch mid afternoon and alas my problems are solved. I'm back in business with a lot of respect for AT&T . What a team. I'm writing this on my webpage so that in the future if I have another problem and it doesn't go as smoothly as this one; I will remember that a company this big can't always do things as fast as we would like because things just happen. Everyone complains about the bad service. No one ever boasts about the good things . Again my thanks to AT&T.
